The Self-Powered Defibrillator Cabinet is a fully self-contained unit designed for installation in remote areas, providing reliable protection for your defibrillator without the need for an external power source. Powered by both wind and solar energy, this cabinet ensures continuous heating all year round, even in the UK’s harshest winter conditions.

Optional Remote Monitoring: Stay informed with our optional remote monitoring system, which provides daily updates on cabinet status, environmental conditions, and battery charge levels. We’ll notify you immediately if the cabinet is accessed or if there’s an issue with the heating system.
Tough and Reliable Turbines: Our wind turbines are designed for extreme environments, including ocean-based installations. Built to withstand high winds, they ensure continuous operation in even the most challenging locations.
Developed for Tough Environments: After two years of development in collaboration with leading UK universities, we’ve created a truly self-powered defibrillator cabinet. While initially solar-powered, we quickly realized that UK winters require more than just solar energy to power the heating system. Our wind turbine solution ensures the cabinet is functional all year round, even in areas with minimal sunlight.
Remote Monitoring for Peace of Mind: Our remote monitoring system uses the mobile phone network to provide daily updates on the cabinet’s status, including access events, environmental conditions, and charge status. If any faults occur, we’ll alert you immediately so you can take action. Adding the R100 with SigFox connectivity also allows the defibrillator to be monitored remotely for complete peace of mind.
Installation Details: To install the Self-Powered Defibrillator Cabinet, a concrete base must be cast with a sub-frame to secure the cabinet. If you would like our team to undertake this for you please get in touch so we can check your location. If you prefer to undertake this yourself, you can either buy our pre-fabricated frame or we can send you a template to make your own.
