We love this because
The insulated cabinet provides limited protection to defibrillators, meaning they can be placed where there is no power. During colder spells some management is required to protect the defibrillator. The bleed kit is not temperature sensitive so can be left in the cabinet all year round.

Designed for remote locations, the AWC004-Ins insulated defibrillator & Bleed cabinet allows businesses and communities to safely store a defibrillator and Emergency Bleed Control Kit outdoors—even where no power supply is available.

Built for Remote Environments
We developed the AWC004-Ins to support communities that need outdoor defibrillator and Bleed Kit access in areas where electricity is unavailable.
This cabinet has been deployed in fisheries, forestry areas, remote hiking trails, and other off-grid locations—providing life-saving equipment where it’s needed most.
In cold periods the defibrillator will need to be checked on reguarly and it may be necessary to remove the defibrillator to protect it from very cold nights.
For an all year round solution, our Solar & Wind Powered Cabinet is the best option.

Care Tips for Unheated Cabinets
Check the defibrillator regularly, especially in winter.
Use the manufacturer-provided protective jacket to help insulate the device.
Monitor battery performance—batteries may drain faster in colder conditions.
Extreme cold? If temperatures drop significantly, consider temporarily storing the defibrillator indoors and notifying your local ambulance service of its availability.
